The key to success in pharmacy school is learning how to study in a way that helps retain all the medication knowledge being covered. Each student should develop their own “study formulary”, a collection of go-to techniques that make learning both effective and efficient. For complex topics like pharmacokinetics or pharmacology, I find that the Pomodoro method works best for me. However, when it comes to memorizing the Top 200 drugs, creating Quizlet decks has been the most helpful strategy.
Question: Students, have you started creating your own "study formulary"? If so, what techniques are in it and are they the same ones you used before entering pharmacy school?
